ÇOCUK KİTAPLARINA YANSIYAN AKRAN ZORBALIĞI ÜZERİNE BİR İNCELEME

Özet

Bu çalışmada çocuk kitaplarına yansıyan akran zorbalığı farklı yönleriyle incelenmiştir. Akran zorbalığına dair temel bilgiler edinildikten sonra araştırmanın amacı bağlamında yayınevlerinin internet adresleri taranmış ve akran zorbalığı konulu 20 kitap belirlenmiştir. Bu kitapların on tanesi çeviri kitap, on tanesi de Türk Edebiyatı’na ait yerli kitaplardan oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın temel veri kaynağını çocuk kitapları oluşturmaktadır, bu sebeple araştırmamızda nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulguları alanyazın taramasıyla oluşturulan kontrol listesi aracılığıyla elde edilmiştir. Araştırmada kontrol listesinde bulunan maddelerin kitaplarda tekrarlanma frekanslarına bakılmıştır. Bu doğrultuda tüm kitaplarda zorbalıkla ilgili bulgulara rastlanmıştır. Zorbalığın en çok geçtiği kitap Benim Adım Jack kitabıdır (f=12). İnclelenen kitaplarda en sık rastlanan zorbalık türü sözel zorbalık (f=62) olurken, en az rastlanan zorbalık türü siber zorbalıktır(f=3). İncelenen tüm kitaplarda yer alan akran zorbalığı bulguları çocukların yaş ve gelişim seviyesine uygundur. Kitaplar sayesinde akran zorbalığı olgusu tüm çocuklara sezdirilebilir. Çocukların böyle bir durum karşısında ne yapması gerektiğinin kitaplarda yer alması zorbalıkla mücadele açısından önemlidir. Akran zorbalığıyla ilgili farkındalık oluşturmak için özel amaçla yazılmış çocuk kitaplarının sayısı arttırılmalıdır. Bu alanda yazılmış kitapların çocuklarla buluşması akran zorbalığıyla mücadele için önemlidir.

Abstract

After obtaining basic information about peer bullying, the internet addresses of publishing houses were scanned in the context of the purpose of the research and 20 books on peer bullying were determined. Ten of these books consist of translation books and ten of them are domestic books belonging to Turkish Literature. Children's books constitute the main data source of the research, therefore, content analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in our research. The research findings were obtained through the checklist created by the literature review. In the study, the repetition frequencies of the items in the checklist in the books were examined. In this direction, findings about bullying were found in all the books. The book with the most bullying is My Name is Jack (f=12). Verbal bullying (f=62) is the most common type of bullying in the reviewed books, while cyberbullying is the least common type of bullying (f=3). The peer bullying findings in all the books reviewed are appropriate for the age and developmental level of the children. Thanks to books, the phenomenon of peer bullying can be perceived by all children. It is important for the fight against bullying to include what children should do in such a situation in the books. In order to raise awareness about peer bullying, the number of children's books written for special purposes should be increased. It is important to meet the books written in this field with children in order to combat peer bullying.om different aspects.
