After Turks arrived in Anatolia in the XI. century, Turkish-Italian relations have contiuned with ups and downs on the basis of both comerrical and cultural exchange and as a kind of domination struggele in Mediterranean geography. In the XIX. century, Italy completed its political unity and first occupied the Tripoli which was an ottoman land and then joined the First World War in order to get land in Anatolia. Italia’s threatening discourses disturbed Turkey and this disturbances reflected Turkish poetry. In this study, It has been tried to analyze political, social and intellectual world of that period by determining the reflectios of Italia’s discourses both politically and literary on Turkish poetry.
