Özet
Sezai Karakoç’un Hızırla Kırk Saat’i, anlatıcının Hızır olduğu kırk şiirden oluşur. Şiirlerin dert ve özlem ortaklığı, okurun onları uzun bir metin gibi okumasını da mümkün kılmaktadır. Eserin mesajları, Kur’an-ı Kerim’de hikâyeleri anlatılan Hz. Musa’nın Hızır rehberliğindeki hikmetli yolculuğu ve Ashab-ı Kehf’in bir mağarada 300 yılı aşkın bir süre uyuması üzerinden verilmeye çalışılır. Hızırla Kırk Saat, bu yönüyle Karakoç’un bazı Peygamberler ve din ulularının olgunlaşma serüvenleri etrafında diriliş idealini somutladığı bir eser olarak değerlendirilebilir. Diriliş, Hızırla Kırk Saat’te “bengisuyu” kavramıyla ifade edilir ve kitapta hakikat yolundaki serüvenlerinden söz edilen isimlerin hepsi, okurun diriliş için anlaması ve özümsemesi gereken kaynaklar olarak sunulur.

Abstract
Sezai Karakoç’s Hızırla Kırk Saat (Forty Hours with Hizir) is comprised of forty poems narrated by Hizir (an immortal person believed to come in time of need). Grief, together with longing, helps reader read them as a long story, as well. Messages of the text are rendered over the journey Prophet Musa takes in the guidance of Hizir, and Seven Sleepers who slept in a cave for over 300 years. In this sense, Hızırla Kırk Saat could be understood as the embodiment of the idea resurrection, which is the story of maturization of some Prophets and scholars of religion. Resurrection is referred with “bengisuyu” (eternal water, water of life) in Hızırla Kırk Saat, and all of the names mentioned in their adventurous path of reality are presented as the sources to be taken and internalized for the idea of resurrection.
