Özet
Tanzimat romancılarının cemiyetteki değişimleri, yenilikleri, çözülüşü ya da kutsiyeti genellikle aile merkezinde dile getirdikleri söylenebilir. Bu çalışmada Tanzimat romanındaki merkez kahramanları iki farklı grupta değerlendirdik: Birinci gruptaki anne himayesinden mahrum kişiler Dilber, Dürdâne, Fitnat ve Felâtun iken ikinci gruptaki annesizliği fırsata çevirebilen kişiler ise Râkım, Nurullah, Fazıla ve Mansur’dur. Bu kişilerin düşüşleri ya da toplumsal yapıya model olmaları ‘anne’ merkezinde özetlenirken annesizliğin kahramanlar üzerindeki ailevî, sosyal ve eğitimsel sonuçlarını yorumlamaya gayret ettik. Yazımızın genel özeti, annesizlik merkezinde Tanzimat dönemi romanındaki ailenin yapısıdır.

Abstract
By means of the Tanzimat novelists, changes occurring in society, innovation and dissolution are explained. We evaluated two groups of Tanzimat novel the central protagonists. The first group: Individuals deprived of the protection provided by the mother: Dilber, Dürdâne, Fitnat ve Felâtun. The second group: Opportunity to be motherless who convert: Râkım, Nurullah, Fazıla ve Mansur. Defeats or social structure of people in the center of the model are summarized in the mother. Being a motherless of heroes, family, social and educational problems were interpreted. General summary of this paper is, to be a motherless of the family structure in the center of the novel of the Tanzimat.
