BETWEEN WILLER AND DESIRED: DESIRE MODEL IN FARUK NAFİZ ÇAMLIBEL’S POEMS WHICH HAVE LOVE THEME
René Girard, a contemporary critic and aiming at the internal relations of literary phenomena and evaluating these associations around certain legalities, puts forward a method known as the desire model that aims to solve the syntactic of literary works around a desire connection. According to this method, there is always a willer subject and a desired object in the syntax of works. In some works, an occasional interjector is included between the subject and the object, inviting the essence to the desire or inducing desire in the subject. According to Girard, the work in which the transducer is located achieves a more realistic position as it clarifies the desire mechanism more clearly. The desire model without the transducer is linear and the desire model is triangular. This second pattern of desire is expressed by Girard as mimetic desire, metaphysical desire, triangular desire. In addition, the works of flat linear desire model are romantic work; the works of the triangular desire model are also called the romantic work. In this study, we will look at the love-oriented poems of Faruk Nafiz Çamlıbel, one of the most prominent representatives of the homeland literature and Beş Hececiler, in the light of Girard's method of desire model and try to shed light on the figures and the connections of the syntactic structure of the poems.
