CHILDREN AND EDUCATION IN THE REPUBLICAN TURKISH CHILDREN'S THEATRE (1923-1950)
The aim of this article, analyzing the children and education topics in the children's plays written between 1923-1950, is to determine the education policies of the new state and their reflection on children. Approximately in forty of the two hundred and thirteen children's plays written in the aforementioned period, the comparison of the old and new approaches to education, children's reading demand, the student and school environment, children and classes, children and teachers, children and family, the relationship between children and school, and finally children and private educators are emphasized.
