ANEW PROPOSAL OF CLASSIFICATION FOR THE THEATRICAL WORKS OF ABDÜLHAK HAMİD TARHAN
Being one of the most original figures of Turkish Literature, Abdülhak Hamid Tarhan produced twenty-four theatrical works out of his about forty works in total. Those twenty-four theatrical works have been classified at various times by researchers and academicians. Even though each classification was made to develop and correct the fermer ones, unfortunately, an inclusive classification has not been achieved. In this paper, the deficiencies of the previous classifications will be analyzed. In this paper the hitherto made classifications are analyzed and a proposal for a more inclusive classification is made as the result of this analysis.
