In this study prepared about Mirati Madak, who gained the admiration of a wide range of people with his poems, it is aimed to focus on various aspects of the artist’s poetry, based on his life, works and understanding of art. Madak, who started his artistic life under the intense influence of individual themes, like many names, turned to social themes in the following years, due to both his identity as an educator and his social sensitivity. The poet, who visualizes his thoughts on many subjects such as wars, those who were wronged by the authority, generation losses, class conflicts in the city and village axis, retirees, employee and employer conflicts, lack of belonging to the city and society, conflict between rich and poor, glorifying ignorance, building a common memory of civilization and society, children’s rights, social lovelessness, lack of tolerance, traumas experienced by people, especially women and children, has a wide range of social themes. The artist, who takes a side with the people in his works and recommends social resistance at every opportunity, emphasizes that the people should be aware of their own mass energy. In this study, the various views expressed by Mirati Madak with intellectual concern will be examined, based on his verses and various observations will be made about the artist’s poetry, based on his language, style, themes and expression.
