Published as a book in 1952, Ali Nizamî Beyin Alafrangalığı ve Şeyhliği is Abdülhak Şinasi Hisar's third novel. Before its publication in book form, the novel was published twice as a short story in 1936 and a serial in 1950. Based on these three versions, the article deals with Abdülhak Şinasi's process of writing the story over and over again. In this study, the concept of palimpsest, which means the layered reading of a parchment, is used. Like the repeated use of a parchment and the intertwining of these writings, the three writings of Hisar have been examined comparatively in terms of content and style. From here, it is tried to reach determinations and comments about the artist and writing style of Abdülhak Şinasi Hisar.
