It is, of course, not possible to consider literary products as a branch of fine arts and limit the area of influence with aesthetic pleasure. Apart from the aesthetic dimension, the readership which is the object of the artist and the work of the artist constitutes the whole. In this context, it should be kept in mind that the author and the readers are a member of the society in which they are located, and they are a mirror of that society. Therefore, every literary work reflects the society in which it belongs, without using its own language and ignoring other things that make it literary. This subject, which is directly in the examination area of literature sociology, will form the perspective of the article and the story of Ömer Seyfettin's of the names of "Şîmeler" will be analyzed with the opportunity provided by this perspective.
