ME IN THE MIRROR AND BEYOND
Necip Fazıl Kısakürek is one of the outstanding Turkish poets who have influenced many successors afterwards.In the analysis of his first collection of poems - Örümcek Ağı (Spider Web) to his second of collection Kaldırımlar (Pavements) and then Ben ve Ötesi (Me and Beyond) , it is powerfully felt that poets emphasize his being and existence and also tries to exceed these. It is standout point that miror as a property ,which provides poets to see his existence in front of it , has heavily take part inside of his poems due to the fact of its feature. In his poems it is appeared that ‘mirror’ sometimes note as real meaning but in some cases it refers symbolic meaning. The images Necip Fazıl make use of, among which ‘mirror’ considerably takes place, correspond to his understanding of poetry. In our study we examine poets’s ‘mirror’ image in 3 chapter. First chapter is ‘ Me who realised myself and searching it ‘. In second chapter we will handle ‘Beyond of Myself ‘ and the last chapter has the name of ‘The case , the community and mirror.
