IN CONTEXT OF SOCIAL CRITICISM “HOME” AND “TREE” METAPHOR IN NECIP FAZIL KISAKUREK’S POEMS
As a result of bi-directional relationship between literature and society, social criticism is a situation that often encountered in literary works. In Necip Fazıl’s poems, written after 1934, social criticism holds an important place. Necip Fazil uses “home” and “tree” metaphors in different ways to emphasize social issues arising as a result of the culture changes, the opposite situations, the expression of the complex social structure, and comparision of tradition-modernity. In this study, two metaphors studied in Necip Fazil’s poem, context of social criticism.
