A BIBLIOGRAPHY OF ABDÜLHAK HÂMİD TARHAN IN HIS 160. BIRTH AND 75. DEATH ANNIVERSARY
Abdülhak Hâmid (1852-1937), who was so long lived that he met several generations, is an important figure in Turkish literature, whose name entertained as many works as to be parallelled with such importance. Similar to unceasing discourses around his name, the works that have been written about Abdülhak Hâmid polarize between praise and diatribe. In this bibliography, collected on account of his 160. birth and 75. death anniversary, previous similar studies have been examined and additions have been made including recent works. The bibliography consists of two sections, one covering the work of Abdülhak Hâmid and the other comprising works written about him. Chronological indexing has been applied in the bibliographic records.
