Özet
Kadim kültürlerin anlatıları olarak adlandırılan, sosyal ve kültürel dokuların izlerini taşıyan, insanlığa ait deneyimlerle ilintili olan ve kolektif bilinçdışında varlığını sürdürmeleriyle dikkat çeken mitler, modern dönemde sanat yapıtlarında yapı ögesi, kurgu ögesi, estetik öge ve simge olarak yer alabilmektedir. Türk yazınının dikkat çeken yazarlarından olan Yaşar Kemal de yapıtlarında mitik ögelerden yararlanmıştır. Dağın Öte Yüzü üçlemesindeki Yer Demir Gök Bakır adlı romanında, mitik bilincin mit üretim sürecini gözler önüne sererek kurtarıcı uman halkın kolektif bilinçdışında bulunan arketiplerle kahraman oluşturmasını konu edinirken Ölmez Otu romanında mit yıkımını ve buna neden olan etmenleri ortaya koymaktadır. Bu makalede, sözü edilen romanlar Joseph Campbell'ın Kahramanın Sonsuz Yolculuğu adlı yapıtında kahraman mitosu için belirlediği aşamalara uygun olarak ve mit yıkım sürecini de kapsayacak biçimde incelenmiştir.

Abstract
Named as the narratives of archaic societies, having the traces of social and cultural characteristics, being related to the humanistic experiences, the myths that are remarkable with the survival of its existence in collective unconscious have taken parts as a product, fictional product, aesthetical product, and a symbol in art. Yasar Kemal, one of the conspicuous writers in the Turkish literature, benefited from the mythic factors, too. While in the novel Iron Earth, Copper Sky in the trilogy The Wind from The Plain he, displaying the mythical conscious’ process of the myth producing, mentions that the people hoping a savior to come creates a hero with the archetypes in the collective unconscious, in the novel The Undying Grass he demonstrates the myth destroying, and the factors causing to this. In the research, the mentioned novels is searched in an appropriate way to the stages for the hero mythos, and is analyzed by involving the process of the myth destroying in the work The Hero with a Thousand Faces by Joseph Campbell.
