THE TEMPORARY HOME OF THE PERMANENT ROOTLESSNESS: “HAN DUVARLARI”
Rupture from traditional motifs in the reform era which revealed in a revitalized form and acting in accordance with this attitude led to a nationalist discourse at the begining of 20th century. The naturalistic discourse which is associated with self-worth was used by five Syllabics clearly. Faruk Nafız Çamlıbel was a leading person among the five syllabics who focused on national resources and restored loss of consciousness. Although Faruk Nafız’s poem called “Han Duvarları” offers familiarity with Anatolian people and geography in lateral dimension, it is a panorama of ignored and deserted Anatolian geography and people in vertical dimension. This study aims at analysing the ontological relationship with the space that the neglected Anatolian people built in the poem “Han Duvarları.”
