SUBJECT AND POWER IN AITMATOV’S NARRATIVE: SAMPLE OF CLOUD OFFENDING TO GENGHIS KHAN
Cengiz Aytmatov’s narrative Cengiz Han’a Küsen Bulut which is a part of his novel Gün Uzar Yüzyıl Olur, takes attention of suppression to human beings, living outside the area of his own desire into the frame of subject and power relations. This narrative which is consisting intertwined stories nourishes from folk stories and historical period, gives a universal meaning about the fate of the human being on earth. In the frame story the narrative brings attention to the repressive of the regimen of Stalin’s Russia, in the kernel story a case which appears in the Western wartime of Genghis Khan is told under the title of Sari Ozek victims. In both of the stories people suppressed by the regime are swept into a dramatically life and die.
