Space, especially the home phenomenon, is one of the important values for individuals in the real as well as fictional world. Home enframes the physical and spiritual worlds that the individual conveys, undertakes, and brings together within a framework that it determines. In Turkish literature, home alsa reminds the union of home and family. Home has undertaken the responsibility of guarding and keeping the family union together before that of 'guarding the daydreamer'. With Halid Ziya, who is one of the writers that seriously thought about space and the world of objects, phenomena occuring around the
matter of home are easily detected in terms of their relations with individuals and family.
