Özet

THE CONCEPT OF "OBJECTIVE CORRELATIVE" AS A POETIC DECOR AND ITS REFLECTIONS ON THE POEM "BACALAR" BY NECiP FAZIL KlSAKUREK
This study aims to define "objective correlative", a term introduced by T.S. Eliot in his essay, "Hamlet and His Problems" and to reflect how the term has been translated into Turkish by various authors, who have argued their opinions on the issue. Furthermore, I have intended to view my personal preference concerning the possible translation options. In the final part of the study, in an attempt to describe the term of" objective correlative", I have also analyzed the poem, "Bacalar" as a distictive sample of "poetic decor", written by the great Turkish mystic poet, N. F. Kısakürek.

Anahtar Kelimeler
